Club Notes

September 18, 2018

Congratulations to our senior footballers who have reached the championship quarter final after defeating St. Anne’s in sensational fashion. Our opponents in that game will be Cuala and as we were drawn first out of the hat, I assume we will have home advantage.

Well done to our minor hurlers who defeated Kilmacud Crokes in the championship. We wish a speedy recovery to Josh Philips who suffered a broken elbow during this game.

Our under 11 footballers had a good win also.

On Saturday evening at 5pm at home our adult hurlers play St Finnians in the championship quarter final. We need your support.

Congratulations to the Dublin ladies on retaining the Brendan Martin cup in a great game in front of a huge crowd which included almost 300 young players from our own club. Club stalwart Kathleen Colreavy is part of the management group.

Congratulations also to John madden and Shane Ryan who were part of the Dublin Masters football team who won the All Ireland by defeating Tyrone.

Our Annual Community Family Day takes place on Sunday the 30th of September from 2 until 7. There will be free entertainment for all. So please come along,  you are all invited.

Thank you to coordinator Frank Lynch and all who helped run the Ladies 7s on Saturday. Another massive success.

The numbers drawn in this weeks club Lotto are 5, 13, 21 and 24. There was no winner. Next weeks jackpot €4,600
