Recent and Upcoming Games – Congratulations to our adult hurlers who have reached the Junior Final after a hard earned victory over St. Brigid’s. This was the best display by the lads for a very long time and great credit is due to the entire squad and the management team of Gary, Ciarán, Kevin and Cliodhna. The victory also means that we are promoted to the Intermediate Championship for 2019. The final will take place in 2 weeks and our opponents will be North Dublin neighbours St. Maur’s from Rush.
Our senior camogie players have reached the Shield Final after a comprehensive victory over Erin’s Isle. Well done.
LGFA Gaelic4Mothers&Others Blitz – A sincere thank you to all who helped run the Gaelic4Mothers&Others tournament on Saturday. With almost 2,000 players, this is a monumental undertaking and as usual everything ran like clockwork.
Recent Death – On behalf of the Club we would like to extend our sincere sympathy to the parents (Audrey and Warren) of Joe Hayes. Joe, an impeccably behaved gentle giant died tragically last Sunday week at the age of 19. Joe played for many years with the Club and was part of a successful team that won the Division 2 Dublin Feile in 2013. May his Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
Club Lotto – The numbers drawn in this week’s Club Lotto were 8, 14, 15 and 18. There was no winner. The Jackpot is now €5,050. Play online athttps://www.locallotto.ie/
