Club Notes

October 6, 2015

Well done to our under 15 camogie girls who have reached the championship final after a hard earned victory against Skerries. The junior girls kept their championship hopes on track with an impressive performance against Setanta. Despite losing in the end, our senior footballers put on a good display against Thomas Davis in the senior football championship. The now play Whitehall in the playoffs.

On Saturday the 17th, we are hosting the annual Gaelic 4 Mothers tournament. All pitches at the clubhouse will be in use all day.

The Intermediate hurling championship final takes place in O’Toole Park next Sunday morning at 11am. Our opponents will be either Castleknock or St. Judes. We wish Dave, Mattie, Tiernan, Cliodhna and the entire squad the very best of luck. We ask all members to please go along and support the lads.

John Holland is the new Chairman of our Ladies football section. We wish him all the best.

Due to recent events, we would like to remind all players and mentors to ensure that all dressing rooms and cars are locked at all times.

The club wishes to extend it’s sympathy to the O’Donovan family on the death of Sandra’s father Edward Halpin. May His Soul Rest in Peace.
