Recent and Upcoming Games – Well done to our minor camogie team who had an impressive win against St. Maurs in the first round of the championship. The under 13 boys football team had a fine win over Na Fianna.

We have a couple of important fixtures next weekend. On Saturday at 2:30 pm, our under 21 hurlers play Na Fianna in Collinstown Lane in the next round of the championship. Minor hurlers are away to St. Brigids on Sunday at 11am in the Shield.  Then at 1pm at home our under 14 ladies football team has a championship re-fixture against St Pats Donabate. Please support.

Congratulations to St. Vincent’s on retaining the Dublin Senior football title.

Annual General Meeting 2017 – The Annual General Meeting of Naomh Mearnóg GAA Club will be held in the clubhouse on Friday, November 24th at 8pm. All members are invited to attend. It’s your chance to have your say

Rachel Allen Christmas Cookery Demonstration – Thursday 23 November– Tickets for the Rachel Allen Christmas Cookery Demonstration cost €25 and are available from JW Smyth Family Butchers Portmarnock, online at www.jwsmythbutchers.ie or from the Club Bar, Kay Cormican, Donal Power, Sheila Waters or Eileen Bernard in the Club Shop on Saturday mornings.

Club Lotto – Imagine What You Would With €4,600 Tax Free!!!! – Members are requested to continue supporting the Club Lotto which is a vital part of the funding of the Club’s continued development. The next Club Lotto draw will take place on Sunday 29 October in the Club Bar for a Tax Free Jackpot of €4,600and the chance to win one of three “Lucky Dip” Prizes of €50. There are also two attendance prizes of a bottle of premium spirits and a bottle of premium wine to be won at the Club Lotto Draw each Sunday night. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning the attendance prizes is to have purchased a Club Lotto ticket for the draw and be in attendance when the draw is being made on the Sunday night.

Naomh Mearnóg Academy – The registration fees for the 2017/18 Academy are now due. The cost of the Academy membership is only €70 for one child and €80 for 2 or more children from the same family. To register and pay for the Academy please go to


Recent Death – We extend our deepest sympathy to Peter and Rosemarie Clarke on the death of their daughter Karen. Peter and his family have had significant involvement with our club over the years. May Karen’s Soul Rest in Peace.
