Johnny Owens has recently taken up the role as Health & Wellbeing Officer for our club. Johnny’s main role is to assist club members who may be experiencing difficulties with their mental or physical health. His role will be to help those in need to access the most appropriate services or support. He will also be helping to raise awareness of the various health and wellbeing topics and initiatives that are being rolled out by the GAA and other agencies.

Johnny is a qualified social worker and he is working in the field of youth mental health. He also plays for the adult hurling team in the club.
