Club Notes

May 25, 2017

Congratulations to our under 14 camogie girls who won the league on Saturday. This is one of the most dedicated teams in the club who also excel at football.

Our under 15 footballers defeated Naomh Baróg with an impressive display while our junior hurlers drew away with Clontarf.

Well done to our senior camogie girls who despite enduring a difficult campaign due to injury and absentees have retained their Div.1 status.

Well done to Karl Bissett, Sean Hawkshaw and Gavin Nangle (Minor Football) and Tommy Kinnane (Uunder 17 hurling) who were all involved with successful Dublin teams over the weekend.

Our senior footballers are back in league action with an away game against Scoil Uí Connaill on Saturday evening. Support needed.

Congratulations to the boys and girls from St Marnocks School who received their First Holy Communion recently.

Next Thursday night our under 12 boys are running a fundraiser involving a Ball Wall challenge. Please come along and support them

Our annual Govan Jolliffe-Byrne under 13 football tournament takes place on Saturday the 3rd of June. We have 16 teams from all over the country and it promises to be a great day. Please note that all club pitches will be occupied all day. We need helpers and sponsors. Contact Clare Gorey.

It’s that time of the year when many of our young people travel far and wide. Please enjoy yourselves and return safely.
