A charity football match, in aid of the Nurses for Night Care section of the Irish Hospice Foundation, will see the Paddy Mc Connell Selection take on the Naomh Mearnóg Dublin Stars, on Saturday the 23rd of May. Throw-in at 6:45pm. There will be a collection bucket for the charity pitch-side on the day and any contributions would be greatly appreciated. Please come along and support this worthy cause.
Well done to our Féile football team who performed well over the weekend. Thank you to all who helped run the event. We wish a speedy recovery to Adam Hughes who suffered a knock in the last game.
Our junior hurlers put on a fine display in the championship to earn a draw against a talented Plunketts team. The senior footballers continued their good run with a cup victory over St. Pats of Donabate. Our senior camogie girls put on a great show away to Naomh Bríd and came away with the spoils. The junior side also won. We had victories also for the under 12 and 16 camogie girls and the under 15 ladies football team. Our under 10 and 12 camogie girls travelled to Kilkenny where they played James Stephens. Thank you to Siobhan Crean Lynch and her fellow mentors for organising the event.
Well done to all involved in our “Operation Transformation” health programme. They are working extremely hard and have already lost over half a ton in weight. Keep up the good work folks.
Important fixtures keep coming thick and fast for our teams. Tonight (Tuesday), our senior camogie girls are at home to Ballyboden while on Saturday, our senior footballers entertain Scoil Uí Connaill. Please support our teams.
Best wishes to all club players involved with Dublin Adult teams. Shane Carthy and Kevin O’Brien senior football, Cian Hendricken minor hurling, Laura Twomey, Caitriona Power and Miriam Twomey senior camogie. We also have several players involved with Dublin under age teams.
Sunday afternoon has become a real family day in the club and we ask more of you to come along where we show all sporting events on our big screens. Food is also available.
