Club Notes

March 7, 2017

Despite the dreadful weather, a number of league fixtures went ahead. Our under 14 and 16 hurlers recorded impressive wins in their opening league games of the season. The under 14s defeated Oliver Plunketts while the 16s overcame St. Brigid’s.

The under 14 ladies football team travelled to Tallaght where they recorded an impressive win over Thomas Davis.

The under 10 camogie girls came through a 4 team blitz unbeaten.

The adult hurling leagues begin next weekend. Our AHL3 team is away against Round Towers Clondalkin on Sunday morning at 10.3oam while the AHL 7 team is at home in the afternoon. Good luck to both teams in the year ahead.

We had meeting on Friday night to bring us up to date on the Black + Plan and an incredible amount of work has already been done. We extend a sincere thank for their great efforts to date. It is vital that members now get involved with the various sub groups in order to bring the plan forward. If you have any questions, please talk to Dave Killeen.

The club is hosting a major celebration on St. Patrick’s night with music song and dance. Admission is free and all are invited. The new season of Operation Transformation commences shortly. Contact Michael Hannon.
