Our adult hurlers are back in action this weekend. The AHL3 lads play St. Peregrines away in Blakestown on Sunday morning at 10-30. Our AHL9 team play near neighbours St. Monica’s at 3pm at home. At 11am our minor footballers are away to Fingallians. Good luck to all and we urge club members to go along and support our teams. Well done to Laura Twomey, Rosie Kenneally and Miriam Twomey who are members of the Dublin senior camogie team.
We wish to advise members that all membership fees are now overdue and must be paid immediately. The club will be implementing a “No Pay No Play” policy. Membership fees are a vital part of club revenue and we ask you all to cooperate.
The current bad weather has made the management of our playing pitches very difficult. It is absolutely vital that all mentors abide by the directives issued by the pitch committee. Decisions are made with the best interests of the club at heart.
Our Easter camp takes place from Tuesday the 14th of April to Friday the 17th. For further information, contact any member of our Juvenile committee.
As you all know we have a vibrant and very active Golf Society in the club. If you would like to join, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The Society has 5 or 6 outings per year with the day always finishing with light refreshments and a sumptuous meal in the club. All are welcome.
Our annual Govan Jolliffe Byrne tournament takes place on the 30th of May. Once again Clare Gorey will captain the ship. If you would like to get involved or help in any way, contact Clare.
As always security is an issue around the club and we urge mentors and players to lock all dressing rooms and cars at all times.
In view of the current health scare, we urge all members to adhere to the guidelines issued by the relevant professional bodies.
