Club Notes

March 31, 2014

31st March

We send our best wishes to club stalwart Joe Reale who is unwell at the moment.

Our minor footballers had a great win over Whitehall and remain unbeaten. We had wins also for our Under 13 hurlers, Under 11 camogie girls and our Under 15 ladies football team.

Congratulations to Liam Mullen who scored 11 points for the Under 13 hurlers. Definitely one for the future.

Our adult hurlers were in action with our seniors putting on a fine display against Crokes and our reformed junior team putting in a fine effort against Setanta. We wish a speedy recovery to Simon Fallon who got a knock in the senior game.  Next weekend also sees hurling fixtures with the seniors at home on Saturday evening and the juniors at home on Sunday afternoon.

We are glad to announce that David Storey will take over as manager of our Adult Ladies football team with immediate effect. We wish him the best of luck.

Details of our Easter camp are available on our website or you can contact club coach Paddy Gorey.

Thank you to all who paid their membership fees on Friday night. All outstanding fees must be paid immediately.

On Sunday next we host the Dublin Ladies football team for their game against Laois.

The dancers in our “Strictly Dancing” competition are preparing diligently and will be coming among you in the next few weeks requesting sponsorship. Please be as
generous as possible.

Congratulations to Orla Colreavy and Alan Barnes who were married at the weekend.
