St Patrick’s Day in the Club – We are hosting a St Patrick’s Day party in the Club on Saturday. There will be plenty of free entertainment for all the family to enjoy. In the function hall we will have a wide variety of children’s entertainment including a Kids Disco, Puppet Show and Magic Show while upstairs in theClub Bar we will have live coverage of the Six Nations and the All Ireland Club Championships. The sport will then be followed by a Traditional Irish music session beginning at 8 pm. All musicians and singers welcome.

Recent Games – Our Adult hurlers continued their good run with an impressive league win over St. Pat’s Palmerstown to make it 2 wins from 2. We had victories also for our minor ladies football team, under 15 camogie girls and the under 14 boys. Our under 13 and 16 boys drew their football league games. Well done to all concerned.
Dublin Camogie – Well done to Aoibhe Dillon who is lining out with the Dublin junior camogie team at the moment. Laura Walsh and Gráinne Power are also in the squad.
All Ireland Hurling Club Championship – Good luck to Cliodhna O’Connor (part of the coaching team) and the Cuala hurlers in the All Ireland final on Saturday.
Recent Death – We extend our sympathy to Bill Aston and his family on the death of his wife Marguerite. Her son David is of course one of our club stalwarts. May Marguerite’s Soul Rest in Peace.
Easter Camp – Our very popular Easter Camp will be running from the 3rd to the 6th of April. The Camp is for children in Junior Infants up to 6th Class and it will be run from 10 am to 2 pm from Tuesday to Friday on the week following Easter. It is a multi-sports camp and we cater for both girls and boys with a range of indoor and outdoor activities. The cost of the Easter Camp is just €40 per child. Sign up online here
Operation Transformation 8 – Starts Monday 19 March 2018 – The Club is running its eight “Operation Transformation” health and fitness programme over a six week period from Monday 19 March to Friday 27 April. The Programme involves organised and tailored fitness sessions in the Club on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings in the Club and healthy eating menus and nutritional advice. The fitness sessions are run by Grace Keane of Good Karma Fitness https://www.facebook.com/gracezkeane/and she will be assisted by Station Officer Dave Connolly aka the really cranky fireman from RTE’s Operation Transformation who is ready and willing to whip up a few challenges for the participants to keep it interesting.
Participants will receive money off vouchers of up to €60 in value (€5 off for every €25 spent) that can be used in JW Smyth Family Butchers during the 6 weeks of the Programme.
