Club Notes
June 29, 2020
We are absolutely delighted that all our teams can now train and in a few weeks time return to competitive activity. Please remember that we want every player young and old male and female to return. New players are also welcome.
However, due to the Corona Virus the World is now a very different place and to help avoid further Lockdowns we must stick rigidly to the professional advice which has been available since the start of this Pandemic..
In addition to that there are further regulations for those entering our grounds.
- All membership fees must be paid. If you have any difficulties, talk to Club Registrar Dave Killeen.
- You must complete the Covid E Learning Module on line and download your cert. In the case of Juveniles parents must do this but please put the child’s name on the cert
- You must complete the Health Questionnaire and re submit it each time you enter the club. Again in the case of juveniles parents must do this.
Each team must appoint a Covid coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring that all the above regulations are adhered to. That person will need to familiarise themselves with the requirements of the role. Dan Linehan is taking over the role of Covid Officer for the club. He will liaise with the Covid Coordinators.
We would like to remind all of you that the people who will be implementing the Covid regulations are volunteers and for them there is also a learning curve.
Pitch Allocation is vitally important in all of this. So, please train on the area allocated.
Each of us has an enormous responsibility to ensure that we obey the rules and keep that horrible virus away.
We are running summer camps this year for the benefit of our younger playing members and their families. The Club believes camps are a very important and enjoyable part of a player’s development.
The decision to run camps has been made after much deliberation and due to specific procedures around Covid-19 we have limitations on the numbers that we can accommodate. It is unlikely at this stage that we will have significant capacity to extend camps beyond current Members and booking is no guarantee of a place.
