The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and the return of our beloved games is getting nearer and nearer. Due to the new directives issued by the HSE and the GAA, the club will need additional volunteers to help us to safely return to the playing fields. We will have more details on this over the next week or 2.

During all of this time and in preparation for the big “return” to activity club coach Ronan McDonald has been very busy with on line training sessions and webinars. Thank you to Monaghan ladies football star Sharon Courtney who kicked off our series of webinars last week with an excellent presentation on sports nutrition.

The club grounds remain closed to all except for those authorised to carry out maintenance work. We thank all members for their cooperation in this matter.

Now more than ever fundraising is vital to the club and we ask all members to support our club Lotto.

We extend our sympathy to club mentor Brian Harris and his family on the death of his mother Helen. May Her Soul Rest in Peace.
