Club Notes
July 6, 2020
It is absolutely magical to see our teams return to training and watch as our pitches become a hive of activity again. However, Covid 19 has not gone away and and to ensure that there is no further disruption to our games we must adhere strictly to the professional guidelines already issued. Players and Mentors must observe all recommended protocols. It is the responsibility of each teams Covid Officer to ensure that players know the rules and adhere to them.
We have a number of competitive adult games scheduled to take place over the next few weeks.
On Friday the 17th our Adult Ladies footballers take on neighbours St. Sylvester’s at home at 7-30 in a Cup game. On Saturday the 18th at 6-30 our Intermediate hurlers travel to Fingallians for the first round of the championship. Our Junior hurlers are in championship action away to Scoil Uí Conaill on Sunday the 19th at 3pm. Saturday the 25th promises to be a big evening in the club when our Senior footballers take on St. Maurs at 6-30 in a difficult championship fixture. This team is now managed by Mike Doyle. We congratulate and say thank you to previous manager Damian Doyle who has moved on to take up a full time role with the Irish senior Soccer squad. We wish Damian the best of luck. We urge all members to come along and support our teams.
Our Cúl Camps begin on the 20th of July. If you have any queries, please contact nmgamesdev@gmail.com.
Our club Lotto continues each week and now more than ever it is vital that all members support this important fundraiser.
