Goitse in Concert – Friday 28 July – A CCÉ Port Mearnóg Fund Raiser Concert will be held in the clubhouse on 28 July at 7.30pm. It will feature the renowned Irish Trad Band Goitse (which includes our own club member Tadhg Ó Meachair). Recent Games – The senior footballers drew with Templeogue to gain another valuable league point.

Upcoming Games –The Intermediate hurlers are in action on Wednesday night at 7-30 away to Fingallians in the championship and away again on Saturday evening to Erin’s Isle in the league at 6-30.

Dublin Camogie and Football – Well done to Sophie Brennan who was part of the Dublin Ladies under 16 football team in the Leinster final. Sophie has another year at this age. Congratulations to Sean Hawkshaw who scored 2 points in Dublin’s win in the Leinster minor football final. Well done to Gráinne Power who starred for the Dublin junior camogie team in their championship win over Waterford.

Best Wishes – We send our best wishes to adult hurler Brian McCarthy and Tara Bermingham who were married last week.

Tickets for the All Ireland Football Quarter Final – Well done to the “Dubs” on retaining the Leinster senior football title. Tickets for the quarter final can be ordered from Dan Linehan on 085 1530569.

Summer Camps – Book Online– The Summer Camps continue with the Advanced Camogie/Hurling Camp from 31 July to 4 August and the Advanced Football Camp from 8 to 11 August. The Camogie/Hurling and Football Camps run from 10 am to 2 pm daily and are for children who participate in the Under 8 to Under 14 club teams, i.e. children born during the years 2003 to 2009. STARCAMP 14 to 18 August – Starcamp, Ireland’s largest Performing Fun & Games Camp is coming to Naomh Mearnog GAA Club from 14 to 18 August. For all Boys & Girls aged 4-12. Book Online at https://starcamp.ie/

Club Lotto – Members are requested to continue supporting the Club Lotto which is a vital part of the funding of the Club’s continued development. 2017 Membership – All outstanding membership fees must be paid immediately. A strict “No Pay No Play” policy is now in place and all team mentors have been instructed that players who have not paid their membership will not be able to play for the Club until such time as they have made arrangements to pay their membership. Players or mentors who have not paid their membership are not covered by the GAA Player Injury Scheme.
