Well done to our senior footballers who started their season with a win over Raheny in the Cup. Our footballers had a good year last year reaching the promotion play offs. Hopefully we can go one better this year.
Our adult hurlers also played Raheny in a very use friendly. The hurlers will operate out of Div. 3 this year and it is important that everybody remains committed for the entire season.
Congratulations to Laura Twomey who has been appointed captain of the Dublin senior camogie team. Unfortunately Laura subsequently suffered a serious knee injury which will keep her out of action for some time. We wish her a speedy recovery.
We have a number of players involved with Dublin minor squads at the moment. Gavin Nangle, Karl Bissett, Sean Hawkshaw and Dara O’Boyle are all involved with the footballers while Shane Kavanagh and Tommy Kinnane are both with the hurlers. We wish them all the best.
Well done to Laura Walsh and Gráinne Power who were part of the Dublin junior camogie squad that defeated Roscommon in the league at the weekend.
