Club Notes

August 26, 2014

Well done to our Under 15 hurlers who have progressed to the next round of the championship after a fine win over St. Brigid’s. This was an excellent performance by a very dedicated group of players.

Good luck to Aodhan Fee and the Dublin minors and also to the Dublin seniors in their respective semi finals on Sunday. Tickets ordered for this game can be collected on Thursday night at 8pm. If you are not going to the game, why not come along to the club and watch it on our big screens where complimentary finger food will be served.

Our senior hurlers have a vital championship playoff game away to Round Towers of Clondalkin on Saturday evening at 6pm. Please support the lads.

Congratulations to Denise, Cliodhna and their Dublin ladies football colleagues who have reached the all Ireland semi final where they will play Galway. Well done also to Sarah Kearns who is a member of the Dublin under 16 ladies football squad who have reached the all Ireland final.

Our  camogie section received a great honour recently when 4 of our players were selected on the “Dublin Camogie Team of the Decade” The players in question are Niamh Taylor, Caitriona Power, Andrea Fitzpatrick and Sarah Ryan. Well done girls.
