Club Notes

August 22, 2016

Please note that on Saturday the 24th of September we are hosting the All Ireland Ladies football 7s tournament. All club pitches will be in use all day. There will be no home games or training for any of our teams on that day. The usual helpers will be required on the day.

Well done to our under 15 footballers who had an impressive win over Clan Na Gael during the week.

Another very busy week ahead for our teams. On Tuesday night both our  camogie teams are at home in championship action. The juniors entertain St. Marks while the seniors will have Erin’s Isle as guests.

The minor footballers are away to lusk on Wednesday evening and at home on Sunday morning against St. Vincent’s.

On Saturday evening, our senior hurlers play Round Towers Clondalkin in the championship relegation play off at home at 6-30pm. On Sunday morning the junior hurlers play Cuala in Shankhill at 11 am in the championship semi final.

Good luck to all teams and please go along and support them..

Tickets for our Barn Dance are going quickly. If you want one, please contact Andrew C. Lynch or Eamon in he bar immediately.

Good luck to both the Dublin men and ladies football teams who have their All Ireland semi finals at the week end. If you are not going to the Dublin Kerry game on Sunday, we invite all of you to come along to the club and watch it on one of our big screens. The “Craic” will be mighty.

The club Lotto jackpot is now €8,200 and the next draw is on Sunday the 28th. Please ensure you have a ticket. “It could be you”
