Our under 16 hurlers defeated Round Towers Clondalkin and with one game remaining they are in contention for league honours. It’s nice to see senior hurlers Dylan Kilbride, Brian McCarthy and Donal Lean helping out with this team.
Our under 15 hurlers came from 8 points down at half time to win a cracking Shield semi final in extra time against St. Brigids. This was a great performance against very talented opponents.
Our minor hurlers were involved in a high quality championship game with Fingallians which ended in a draw.
Our under 9 team tasted the healthy atmosphere of the Dublin mountains on Saturday when they travelled to play Erin Go Bragh.
Well done to all teams.
On Wednesday night at 7-45, our senior hurlers play Parnells away in a crucial league game. Then its of to St. Vincent’s on Sunday morning at 11 am when our senior camogie girls take on the home team in the championship semi final.
Please support all our teams. On Saturday, we are hosting the Ladies football All Ireland 7s. All pitches at the club will be in use all day, Teams with away games or who are playing in Carrickhill are asked not to meet at the club. The usual helpers will be required for car parking etc. Please contact Frank Lynch.
Good luck to the Dublin ladies who play Cork in the All Ireland final on Sunday. Maybe just maybe, this might be their year.
Tickets required for the Men’s replay must be ordered from Dan Linehan immediately.
Thanks to all who helped organise our Barn Dance and our Family Day. Both were a great success.
