Club Notes

September 12, 2016

Well done to our senior camogie girls who have reached the championship semi final after a hard earned victory over Ballinteer. Our opponents in the semi final will be St. Vincent’s. This is a repeat of the 2009 pairing and a similar outcome would be nice. Details of fixture date will be published when available.

Our junior hurlers remain in contention for league honours after an impressive victory over St. Brendan’s. With 2 home games remaining, this has been another very consistent year from this group.

The under 16 ladies football team defeated St. Anne’s in the championship. This is a very dedicated group of girls as virtually all of them  play for our under 16 camogie team also.

Our Academy for boys and girls aged 4 70 7 is back in action on Saturday mornings. Contact Paddy Gorey for details.

We wish to remind all teams that we are hosting the ladies All Ireland football 7s on Saturday the 24th. No club activity will be taking place at the club for the entire day.

Our Barn Dance takes place on Friday night and there are still a few tickets available for this event. Contact Andrew C. Lynch or Eamon in the bar.

Good luck to the Dubs on Sunday. Tickets ordered for this game must be collected on Thursday night.
