Club Notes

September 11, 2017

Our senior footballers finished their regular league campaign with a well deserved win over Erin’s Isle. We await other results to see if we are in the play offs. Regardless, it’s been a good year for the team and we still have the championship quarter final to look forward to.

The club has 2 huge games next weekend. On Saturday evening at 5pm, our Inter hurlers play Kevin’s in a championship relegation battle and on Sunday morning at 10-30 at home, our minor footballers play Whitehall in a vital championship game. We need support for both game.

The season may have ended on a slight “downer” but nevertheless we congratulate Grainne Power, Laura Walsh and the Dublin Premier junior team on a great campaign.

We thank the young camogie girls from James Stephens who played 3 great challenge matches against our girls on Sunday morning.

Demand for All Ireland tickets outstripped supply and an Executive sub committee will deal with the distribution of the ones we got.

Our brand new refurbished Coffee shop opened on Saturday morning and was packed to the rafters. We thank all the people who made this project happen.

As usual the club is holding a draw for 2 All Ireland tickets. Tickets cost, 1 for €5 or 3 for €10 and are available from Eamonn in the bar.

The Club Lotto jackpot is now €3400. Please continue to support.
