Club Notes

October 26, 2015

Congratulations to our junior camogie team who have reached the championship final after a hard earned win over Ballyboden. That game is due to be played next weekend. Details of the fixture will be circulated when available. This team has already won their league and Summer cup. Please support this great group.

Our senior footballers have a vital league game away next Sunday morning at 11am against St. Pats, Donabate. Support needed.

Our under 21 hurlers and footballers are working hard in preparation for their forthcoming championship games. The footballers will be guided by Dave Killeen, Damien Kenny and Dave Storey. Michael Callinan, Ciaran Waters and Michael O’Donoghue will manage the hurlers. The footballers open their campaign on the 7th of November at home to St. Jude’s. Good luck to both groups.

Our minor footballers have qualified for the championship semi final.

Despite a disappointing result on Saturday evening, our senior hurlers still have everything to play for and training will continue as usual. We play Erin’s Isle at home in 2 weeks time in the last league game of the Season in a vital encounter.

Results elsewhere at the weekend means that our junior hurlers will be playing Cuala in what is a league final in 2 weeks time. All players are asked to ensure that they make training for every session in the meantime.

The club is hosting a massive Fancy Dress Halloween Party on Saturday the 31st. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume. So please come along. The “Craic” will be mighty.

The new All Weather schedule has been agreed and circulated to mentors. It is also posted on the club notice board. This schedule comes into effect immediately. If you have any queries, please contact the Chairperson of your section.

Our AGM takes place on the 4th of December and our annual Mass is on the 5th.

The dark evenings have arrived and we urge all people to be careful when driving into and out of the car park. There are always children around.
