Breaking News – Huge congratulations to our Senior Camogie Team who have just beaten St Vincent’s in the replay of the Shield Final in Pairc Naomh Uinsionn earlier on this evening (Tuesday). The final score was 0-14 to 1-9. Well done to the players and the management team.

Recent and Upcoming Games – Once again it was a very busy weekend for our young teams. Our Under 15 hurlers have reached the championship final as have our Under 13B camogie players. We had wins also for our Under 11, 13 and 14 hurlers. The Under 16 footballers were also victorious.

After a great year, our Under 13 ladies football team were beaten in the championship final. Well done to all teams and mentors.

The curtain came down on our adult hurling season on Wednesday night when we were beaten by St. Maur’s in the Junior A Championship Final. Thank you to Gary, Ciarán, Kevin, Cliodhna and the entire squad for a great effort.

The Under 21 season is on the horizon and both our hurlers and footballers are getting ready for action.

We have 3 other camogie finals this week. On Sunday our girls are in the Under 15 and Under 13A shield finals and the Under 13B championship final.

Monday Night is Trad Night in the Club Bar – Every Monday night there is a Traditional Irish Music Session in the Club Bar from around 9:30 or so. The music is excellent and a wide spread of musical instruments are played by the 15 to 20 musicians that take part in the Session. All musicians and non-musicians are welcome and admission is free!

Club Lotto – The numbers drawn in this week’s Club Lotto were 2, 13, 15 and 17. There was no winner. The Jackpot is now €5,350. Play online athttps://www.locallotto.ie/play_newa.asp?ll_id=518&PC=0&RP=#Anchor or in the Club Bar.

Ladies Football – We are still recruiting players for our adult ladies football team. If you are interested, please contact Cliodhna O’Connor.

Naomh Mearnóg Nursery – The registration fees for the 2018/19 Nursery are now due. The cost of the Nursery membership is only €70 for one child and €80 for 2 or more children from the same family. As we are aligning the Nursery membership with our other membership the Nursery membership for 2018/19 covers the period from 1 September 2018 to 31 December 2019 (rather than to 30 June 2019 as has been the case up now). To register and pay for the Nursery please go to http://naomhmearnog.ie/club-information/membership/
