Recent and Upcoming Games – Well done to our under 12 hurlers who won their league on Saturday, to our under 14 ladies football team who have qualified for the championship final after defeating St. Pats Donabate in a re-fixture and to our minor  camogie girls who made it 2 championship wins in a row by defeating St. Peregrines.

Once again we have a busy weekend ahead for our young players. On Saturday at 2-30 our under 21 footballers are at home to Fingal Ravens in the championship while on Sunday morning at 11am our minor hurlers are away to St. Brigid’s in the shield semi-final.

A sincere thank you to Ciaran Kilkenny who attended our under 10 end of Season function.

Miriam Twomey – Dublin Camogie Player of the Year - Congratulations to Miriam Twomey who was voted Camogie Player of the Year by the Friends of Dublin Hurling.

Portmarnock Lions Club Fundraiser - On Thursday night, we have a fund raising Table Quiz in aid of the Portmarnock Lions Club. Tables of 4 cost €40. Please support this worthy cause.

Games Awareness Workshop – Date Change – The Games Awareness Workshop with David Aston scheduled for this Wednesday is now switched to Wednesday 22 November at 8:00 pm in the Clubhouse. This practical workshop is focused on how to improve coaching techniques for a game environment. This course is applicable to all codes, Camogie, Football, Hurling and Ladies Football.

Annual General Meeting 2017 - The Annual General Meeting of Naomh Mearnóg GAA Club will be held in the clubhouse on Friday, November 24th at 8pm. All full members (particularly adult players) are encouraged to attend this important meeting. It’s your chance to have your say!

Rachel Allen Christmas Cookery Demonstration – Thursday 23 November- Tickets for the Rachel Allen Christmas Cookery Demonstration cost €25 and are available from JW Smyth Family Butchers Portmarnock, online at www.jwsmythbutchers.ie or from the Club Bars. Very few tickets, if any, are now left for the event.

Club Lotto – Imagine What You Would With €4,750 Tax Free!!!! - Members are requested to continue supporting the Club Lotto which is a vital part of the funding of the Club’s continued development. The next Club Lotto draw will take place on next Sunday in the Club Bar for a Tax Free Jackpot of €4,750 and the chance to win one of three “Lucky Dip” Prizes of €50. There are also two attendance prizes of a bottle of premium spirits and a bottle of premium wine to be won at the Club Lotto Draw each Sunday night. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning the attendance prizes is to have purchased a Club Lotto ticket for the draw and be in attendance when the draw is being made on the Sunday night.
