May 16, 2016

Congratulations to all our boys and girls who made their First Holy Communion in recent weeks.

Many of our young students will commence travelling all over the world shortly. We wish you all a safe journey.

As usual, our very popular Summer Camps will begin over the next few weeks. Please contact Paddy Gorey for details.

On Saturday the 11th of June we are hosting an under 13 football tournament with 16 of the best known clubs in Ireland competing for the Govan Joliffe-Byrne cup and shield. This promises to be a fantastic event and we request the help of everybody for car parking, stewarding and general coordination duties on the day.

Our under 16 camogie girls made it 6 wins out of 6 with a victory over Skerries while the under 13 hurlers had an impressive win over Ballyboden.

Our hurlers are back in action this week in the league. The seniors are away to Ballyboden on Wednesday and away to St. Pats on Sunday morning while our juniors are at home on Thursday against Clontarf and at home again on Sunday against St. Brigids.

We send our best wishes to Louise and Aonghus McAnally on the birth of their daughter Emer.

Well done to the Dublin minor hurlers on reaching the Leinster final and good luck to the seniors on Saturday.
