Club Notes

May 1, 2018

Thank you to all who helped out in the running of the camogie Féile on Saturday. As usual everything ran smoothly and the pitches were in perfect condition. Our own girls put on a great display reaching the semi final only to lose out to a strong Ballinteer team. Well done.

Our senior camogie girls remain unbeaten in the league after gaining their third victory in a hard fought encounter with Kilmaced Crokes. They travel to play Good Counsel tonight (Tuesday) in what is another very difficult assignment.

Our under 15 ladies football team recorded another win. That makes it 5 wins from 5 for this group

The club is running a Foundation Award Course on the 3rd and 11th of May. Details of this and our forthcoming Summer Camps can be had from club GPO David Sweeney at 087 9077229.

Well done to Ciara Holland who is a member of the Dublin Minor ladies football squad who won the Leinster title.

Our adult hurlers are back in championship action at home against St. Vincents on Wednesday night at 7 and on Saturday, they have an away league game against St. Peregrines at 6. Our AHL 7  team have 2 home games. Championship on Thursday and league on Sunday. Please support all our teams.

Well done to our under 9 girls who in conjunction with parents, the Tidy Towns people and the PCA went on a sponsored “Beach Clean” on Saturday. This is a great idea and further details can be had from Terence O’Connor.

The Club Lotto Jackpot is heading towards €2,000. Always ensure you have a ticket.

Some membership fees remain outstanding and must be paid immediately.
