Club Notes

March 30, 2015

We had another absolutely superb weekend on the playing pitches.

Our senior hurlers began their league campaign with an impressive win over Kilmacud. Our juniors travelled to lucan and made it 2 wins on the trot. Our minor footballers came out on top after a mighty battle with St.Maurs

Our juveniles were in great form also with victories recorded by our under 14, 15 and 16 hurlers. Our ladies kept the flag flying high as well with wins for our under 10, 11 and 12 camogie girls. Our very consistent under 15 ladies football team made it 5 league wins in a row. Well done to all mentors and teams. Your hard work is paying dividends.

Thank you to all who supported the Adult Games fundraising quiz on Saturday night. It was a great success. A special word of thanks to Kate Moran, Richie Fitzmaurice, Ciaran O’Callaghan, Peter O’Donovan, Ciaran Waters and John Owens who helped organise the event.

Our very popular Easter Camp begins next week. Contact Paddy Gorey for details.

Once gain we remind all players, that you can no longer play for your team unless your membership fees are paid. Please contact club Registrar Adrian Kavanagh or any member of our Executive.

Good luck to Shane Carthy and his colleagues in the forthcoming Leinster under 21 football final.

We extend our sympathy to the Gibbons family of the death of Paddy’s sister Mary. May Her Soul Rest in Peace
