Club Notes

March 21, 2016

Our junior hurlers remain unbeaten after a hard earned victory over Setanta in a great game. Our under 13 footballers completed their grading games with a fifth consecutive victory. The good form of the under 14 s continued also when they won by 6 points away to Westmanstown Gaels. Our under 9 camogie girls won while our under 8 boys had an exciting tussle with St. Peregrines.

Well done to Caitriona Power, Laura Twomey and Miriam Twomey who played for the Dublin senior camogie team that defeated Clare and to Laura Walsh who played for the Dublin juniors in their victory over Cavan.

Our Easter Camps begin next week. Contact Paddy Gorey for further details.

On Saturday the 2nd of April, we are hosting the Ladies football Feile. Our own girls will be playing and we ask all members to come along and support them.

Congratulations to under 14 players Ronan Pattison, Conor Archer and Mark Morris who won the All Ireland under 14 200 metre relay.

We send our best wishes to Patrick Reale and Aoife Mullins who got married recently.

On Saturday the 11th of June we are hosting an All Ireland under 13 football tournament with some of the biggest club names in the country taking part. If you would like to sponsor any aspect of this event, please contact Andrew Ritwegger or Barry Mulligan. We will need lots of help on the day. More details as the weeks go by.

Congratulations to Ballyboden on winning the All Ireland club football title.

A number of our members and friends are unwell at the moment, please remember them in your prayers.
