March 16, 2015

Please support the Camogie fundraising QUIZ on Friday night at 8pm. Tables of 4 cost €40. There is also a raffle with lots of beautiful spot prizes. A great night is guaranteed.

We extend our sympathy to the Sugrue family on the death of Danny’s brother Michael. May his Soul Rest in Peace.

Well done to our junior hurlers who had a great win over Castleknock in the first league game of the Season. Our minor footballers travelled to Parnells and came away with 2 valuable league points. We wish a speedy recovery to Cillian O’Driscoll who suffered a broken nose during the game. Our camogie girls had a very busy weekend also with victories for the under 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 teams.

Well done to Caitriona Power, Laura Twomey and Miriam Twomey who were in action for the Dublin senior camogie girls against Cork.

Our impressive under 15 Ladies football team continued their good run with another victory.

Next weekend, our senior footballers are away to Ballinteer on Sunday morning while our AFL 5 team are at home to Cuala. Our minor hurlers are also at home to Whitehall.

The absolute deadline for the payment of membership fees is the end of March. If you have not paid by then, you will be unable to play for the club.

The evenings are getting longer and midweek games and training on grass pitches will commence shortly. All teams must take their turn using Carrickhill.

The club Lotto Jackpot is now €10,000. Please ensure that you always buy a ticket.
