The annual Louise Fitzpatrick “Big Picnic” in aid of Barrettstown House takes place in Malahide Castle at 1pm on Saturday 20th. Please come along and support this worthy cause in honour of the memory of our beautiful colleague. Thank you to all who organise this event each year.

Our mini leagues continue on Wednesday night with the big finals day on Saturday. It’s very encouraging to see such big numbers of boys and girls taking part. Thank you to club coach Paddy Gorey and our juvenile committee for all their efforts.

Our junior footballers play St. Vincents tonight (Tuesday) at 7.30pm away in the championship. Our hurlers also have championship action this week. The seniors are away to Ballyboden on Saturday evening while the juniors are at home to Na. Fianna on Sunday afternoon. Support required. Despite being very depleted by injuries and college exams, our senior footballers put on a good display against Raheny on Friday night. It was good to see Kevin O’Brien make an impressive appearance after his battle with injuries.

Congratulations to Richie Fitzmaurice and Kate Moran who were married recently. We wish them a long and happy life together.
