Upcoming Events – On Friday night, the club is honouring the Minor football league and championship winning team of 1997. All are welcome to the party. Then on Saturday evening we have our annual Paddy McConnell Memorial Cup at 6pm. The minor team of 1997 will play a Paddy McConnell selection. The game will be preceded by a ladies football match at 5pm. All monies raised will go the very worthy Portmarnock Lions Club. If you wish you can make an online donation via www.ifundraise.ie/
Recent Games – A lot of draws around this week with games involving our Minor Footballers, Junior and and Intermediate hurlers ending all square. Well done lads it’s better than losing. Our under 13 camogie girls finished their league campaign with an impressive win over Naomh Fionnbarra.
Upcoming Games –The senior footballers have two league games this week, at home on Wednesday against Raheny and away on Saturday evening against O’Tooles. Our minor hurlers are away to Ballyboden on Wednesday and at home to Erin’s Isle on Sunday morning. Support needed for all games.
Dublin Hurling and Football – Good luck to Cian Hendricken who has been called into the Dublin senior hurling squad.
Congratulations to the Dublin Ladies and Mens football teams who have qualified for their respective Leinster finals.
Club Lotto – Members are requested to continue supporting the Club Lotto which is a vital part of the funding of the Club’s continued development. The next Club Lotto draw will take place on Sunday 2 July in the Club Bar for a Jackpot of €1,750 and the chance to win one of three “Lucky Dip” Prizes of €50. 2017 Membership – All outstanding membership fees must be paid immediately. A strict “No Pay No Play” policy is now in place and all team mentors have been instructed that players who have not paid their membership will not be able to play for the Club until such time as they have made arrangements to pay their membership. It should also be noted that players or mentors who have not paid their membership are not covered by the GAA Player Injury Scheme.
