Despite missing several players due to travel and injury, our senior footballers recorded 2 valuable league wins during the week over St Pat’s Donabate and Whitehall. Well done lads. We also have a home draw against St. Peregrines in the “B” championship to look forward to.
Congratulations to Tommy Kinnane who starred for the Dublin under 17 hurlers in their Leinster final victory over Kilkenny. Tommy is also a member of the Dublin minor squad and is certainly a player for the future.
Our adult hurlers are back in action this week. Our Intermediates have a championship date with Na Fianna at home on Wednesday night at 7-30 and then travel to Commercials on Saturday evening at 6-30 for a vital league game. Our junior hurlers have 2 home games. On Thursday they play Ballinteer in the championship at 7-30 while on Sunday afternoon they play Erin’s Isle in the league at 3pm.
The minor footballers resume action after the exam break with an away game against Cuala on Sunday morning at 11am..
The Louise Fitzpatrick Big Picnic in aid of Barretstown House takes place this Saturday at 1pm in Malahide Castle. Your support would be appreciated. All are welcome.
Our young girls teams have caught the travel bug. 2 weeks ago the under 14s and minor players travelled to Aldergrove GAA club in Antrim while this weekend 130 of the younger players went to Clara Lara.
Thank you to Raheny who provided a great challenge game for our senior camogie team on Tuesday.
We extend our sympathy to the Mannix Family on the death of Bridie’s husband Jimmy. Bridie has been a loyal supporter of club activity for many years. May Jimmy’s Soul Rest in Peace.
