Well done to our senior footballers who continued their good run with an impressive win over Whitehall.
Our high flying senior 5 camogie girls defeated Erin’s Isle.
It’s hurling championship action this week with our seniors at home to St. Vincent’s on Saturday evening while the juniors are away to Ballyboden on Sunday afternoon.
Congratulations to Aoife McLoughney who finished 5th in the Leinster camogie Féile skills competition.
Our under 12 boys enjoyed a wonderful trip to Carlingford over the weekend.
Good luck to Cian Hendricken and his under 21 hurling colleagues in their semi final against Westmeath on Wednesday evening in Parnell Park. We urge all club members to go along and support the team.
The dedication of our club members was really tested at the weekend and as usual they came up trumps. On Friday evening, we had massive crowds at our mini league finals. Then it was on to Saturday when we hosted the Govan Jolliffe Byrne memorial tournament. With over 400 young players in attendance, this was a major event. Congratulations to Magherafelt who won the Cup and to Ballincollig who were shield winners. The on Sunday we hosted the Dublin ladies football team in their successful encounter with Laois. The entire weekend’s activities required massive help from a huge number of volunteers and we sincerely thank each of you for your contribution. The club spirit in evidence over the weekend was unbelievable.
A number of our members are a unwell at the moment. Please remember all of them in your Prayers.
