Club Notes

July 31, 2017

Our ladies football team had a good win over St. Pats Donabate in the junior championship on Wednesday. They play again at home this Wednesday at 7-30 pm against St. Finnians Swords in the next round. It’s great to see our ladies team emerging again after a lot of hard work by some very dedicated people. Well done to all concerned.

Our senior mens football team recorded 2 important league wins during the week. With 2 games remaining, a play off place is possible .

Our under 14 camogie girls had an impressive win over Castleknock in the Summer Cup.

Good luck to Miriam Twomey who plays for the Dublin senior camogie girls in their championship quarter final against Wexford in Semple stadium on Saturday. This game is on TV. We send our best wishes also to Tommy Kinnane who plays for the Dublin Under 17 hurlers in the All Ireland final in Croke Park on Sunday against Cork.

Good luck to the “Dubs” on Saturday against Monaghan and don’t forget that if you are not going to the game, you can enjoy it on our big screens in the club. All are welcome.

A reminder to all members that we cater for private parties in our Functions rooms and Bar. So, if you are planning any kind of celebration just talk to Eamon our bar manager.
