Dublin Camogie – Well done to the Dublin senior camogie team who have reached the championship quarter final where they will play Galway. Club stars Miriam and Laura Twomey are part of that team. Congratulations to Sophie Brennan who finished runner up in the Leinster under 16 camogie long puck competition and also to Aoibhe Dillon, Laura Walsh and Gráinne Power who are part of the Dublin Premier Junior Camogie team that defeated Roscommon in the premier junior championship on Sunday and ensured an All Ireland Semi-final spot.

Upcoming Games – Our adult hurlers are in league action at home on Wednesday night at 7-15 and our senior footballers play Clontarf at home on Saturday evening at 6-30. Please Support.

Club Lotto – Please Support this Important Fundraiser for the Club – The Club Lotto Jackpot is now €3,400. The draw takes place every Sunday night.  Tickets are available in the bar.

Summer Camps – Our Summer Camps continue next week with the High Performance Academy for players on the Club’s Under 10 to Under 16 teams in all codes. Leading guest and club coaches, such as Ciaran Kilkenny, Padraig Walsh (Kilkenny hurler), David Herity, Niamh McEvoy and our own Dublin camogie and ladies football players Laura Twomey and Cliodhna O’Connor will provide coaching sessions and workshops on key player development areas.The last Camp is the Mearnog Camp 2 (incl a pre-school camp) which runs from 20 to 24 August. Upcoming Event – The Club is proud to host Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Port Mearnóg on Friday night at 7pm. There will be a BBQ and traditional music and song featuring internationally renowned musicians. Admission is €10 for adults and €5 for children. Tickets are available from Eamonn or you can pay on the night.
