Club Notes

February 4, 2019

Our under 15 footballers started their Season in impressive manner with a stylish victory over Oliver Plunketts. Well done lads. A good start means a lot.

Thank you to the Athenry club for the hospitality shown to our adult hurlers during their visit there at the weekend. Apparently a hurling game did take place at some stage.

Well done to the Dublin hurlers and footballers who had important league wins over the weekend. The senior camogie girls drew with Offaly with our own Aoibhe Dillon and Laura Twomey involved. Miriam Twomey is still recovering from injury and expects to join the panel later in the year.

Good to see club legend Cliodhna O’Connor providing expert analysis on the ladies football game on Saturday evening.

Our newly reformed ladies football team play their first game (friendly) on Friday night at 7pm at home. We will still welcome new players. Please contact Cliodhna.

Last weeks club Lotto numbers were 1, 11, 12 and 23. There was no winner.

We extend our sympathy to the Brogan family on the death of Ken’s mother Margaret. May Her Soul Rest in Peace.
