Recent and Upcoming Games – Well done to our adult ladies football team who made it 2 championship wins on the trot with a deserved victory over St. Finnian’s Swords. They play Clan Na Gael at home on Wednesday evening at 7-30. Please support them.

Dublin Camogie, Hurling and Football - Congratulations to Miriam Twomey and her Dublin camogie colleagues who have qualified for the senior all Ireland semi-final for the first time since 1990 after defeating Wexford. Their opponents will be Kilkenny.

It’s a busy time for young Tommy Kinnane who lined out for the Under 17 hurlers in their all Ireland final narrow defeat to Cork. He is also part of the minor squad who also face Cork next week end in the semi-final.

Sean Hawkshaw and Karl Lynch Bissett have been selected to play for the minor footballers in their quarter final against Clare this afternoon (7 August). Dara O’Boyle and Gavin Nangle are also in the squad. Earlier in the year Stephen James was on the Dublin under 17 football squad. Unfortunately injury curtailed his involvement. Stephen is the grandson of Mick Kissane and is a fine goalkeeper.

Well done to emerging camogie star Ciara Holland who was chosen as the Dublin Camogie player of the weekend last week.
