Club Notes

August 30, 2016

Well done to our minor footballers who recorded an impressive win over the league leaders on Sunday morning. This is a young team with most of the squad eligible to play minor again next year.

Our senior camogie girls got their championship campaign off to a fine start with a hard earned win over Erin’s Isle. The play Na Fianna on Tuesday night away at 7pm. The juniors girls were equally impressive in their win over St. Marks. Our junior footballers have a league game at home tonight  at 7pm while our seniors are scheduled to play St. Mary’s also at home on Saturday evening.

Congratulations to both the Dublin men and ladies football teams on reaching their respective All Ireland finals. Tickets for the men’s final must be ordered from Dan Linehan immediately.

We wish to remind all mentors that on the 10th of September we are hosting an inter county camogie Blitz and on the 24th, we have the Ladies football All Ireland 7s.

On Tuesdays from 8-30pm, the club will be hosting an “Óiche Ghaelach”. All are welcome to come along.

Our next “Operation Transformation” Health and Fitness Programme commences on the 5th of September. Contact Michael Hannon if you would like to join this very popular activity.
