Well done to our Junior hurlers and their management team of Tony Larkin and Jack Hughes who defeated Round Towers Clondalkin in the first round of the championship. Trailing at half time, the lads put in a fantastic second half to win by 3 points.
Our Minor and under 15 footballers were both victorious during the week and sit proudly on top of their respective leagues. The under 13 lads are also going well and recorded an impressive win over Castleknock.
Congratulations to our Camogie Féile team who reached the semi final on Saturday. A sincere thank you to the management team of Eamon Crosbie and Larry Kavanagh for all their hard work. Thanks also to Derek Downes who sponsored a set of jerseys for the girls. The weekend got off to a great start with Ciara Holland winning the skills competition on Saturday evening.
Our senior camogie girls continued their good form and eventually got the better of Raheny in a mighty battle on Tuesday night. They play away to Lucan tonight (Tuesday). We had camogie wins also for the under 8, 9, 10 and 11 teams.
The boys football Féile takes place next weekend and we wish Ray, Jack and the lads the very best of luck.
Our Junior footballers have championship action at home on Wednesday night. Please support them.
Congratulations to the Dublin footballers on retaining the league title and to the Dublin Ladies on reaching their league final.
