Club Notes

April 19, 2016

It’s championship time for our adult hurlers next weekend end. Our seniors play Naomh Fionnbarra at home on Saturday evening at 6pm while our juniors are at home against St. Judes on Sunday morning at 11am. We need support.

Our under 16 girls recorded a hat trick during what was a very busy week. They played 3 games (2 football and 1 camogie) and were victorious in all of them.

The All Weather pitch was buzzing on Sunday morning where our under 8 girls entertained St. Vincent’s in a football Blitz. Our under 12 boys drew.

Our Féile hurlers put on a great show defeating Ballinteer in their first game but were beaten by Clanna Gael and eventual winners Raheny. Well done to all.

The Senior 5 camogie team kept up their unbeaten run with a hard earned victory over Erin’s Isle.

A reminder that on the 11th of June we are hosting an under 13 football tournament with some of the biggest named clubs in the country involved. The coordinator of the event is Barry Mulligan and we would like sponsors to come on board. Contact Barry for details. We will also need lots of helpers on the day.

On Saturday night the club presents “A Reflection of Life at the Time of the Easter Rising” with music, song , dance and authentic images. Tickets cost €10 and a great night is guaranteed.

Good luck to our Féile camogie team who are in action at the weekend.

Congratulations to Kate and Richard Fitzmaurice on the birth of their daughter Fia Mai
