Club Notes

April 17, 2018

Our senior camogie girls got their league campaign off to a great start with an impressive win over Erin’s Isle last week. Great to see star player Caitriona Power involved with the management of this team now.

Our talented under 15 camogie girls recorded another win.

Congratulations to Gráinne Skelton and Sophie Brennan who are on the Dublin under 16 camogie team that defeated Laois to reach the Leinster final.

Our senior footballers had a bye in the championship and we thank the Ratoath team for providing us with a very useful challenge game.

On Saturday next we are hosting the Boys Football Féile. We wish David Madden and the lads all the very best of luck. Please come along and support the team. Games commence at 10-30.

Our adult hurlers are back in championship action next weekend. On Saturday evening at 6, the junior A team travel to St. Brigid’s while on Sunday afternoon, the junior C team is away to Na Fianna at 3pm. Support needed.

While not every team is top of their league or winning all around them, we still recognise the effort and hard work of all players and mentors. Thank you.

Work on the upgrading of Pitch 1 us scheduled to commence in the not too distant future. We are putting in a sand based surface and installing floodlights. The pitch will be out of commission for some time.
