Juvenile Camogie Round up.

Indoor fireworks! The goals rained in for our u10s and u12s at the Gormanstown indoor camogie round 3 fixtures on Sunday evening last.

Our u10s played 3 matches against Skerries, Naomh Maurs and Kiltale (Kildare). This indoor camogie/hurling should really be compulsory on the school curriculum. It’s the fastest game around. Our girls are going to have the wristiest swings you can imagine. Pure class!

Our u12s flew the flag with pride against Fingallians. This Mearnóg team are well known for their fighting spirit, and ran the show to the full time hooter!

All of our juvenile teams are back training since mid January. The leagues are almost upon us. Fixture dates should be settled by the Camogie Board next week, so keep your diaries open and your pens poised. Get those dates down early and make sure all of your wider family and friends know. They can then move wedding dates and christening dates and maybe even apply to the schools or the Bishop to change communion or confirmation dates to suit your camogie dates!……only joking!….(but it might be an idea?).
